Welcome to Central's Photography Curriculum

My goal for all photography classes is for you to learn much more about photography and photo manipulation. To accomplish this, the curriculum I've developed requires a considerable amount of dedication on your part.

To get the most from this curriculum, you should plan to take many pictures throughout each course, on your own time outside of school. Pictures taken outside, in natural light, are always better. You should also plan to work in class daily. Be prepared; try to gain access to a DSLR, have a couple of camera cards and a reliable flash drive.

If you do not have Lightroom or Photoshop at home, you can download free trials here. You can also purchase the Photography Plan from Adobe's Creative Cloud for a low monthly fee.

Follow my blog.  I post my own pictures here as well as articles I find.  I do a lot of personal research about photography and post articles that will help you on my blog.

While many phones have good cameras now, do not use your phone to take pictures for the Compositions Assignments in Advanced Photography.

I hope you enjoy the courses and as always, please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
